Where Has The Time Gone?

August 7th, 2008

It’s hard to believe it’s August already.  It seems like only yesterday I was finalizing plans with my good friend Chris about driving across the country to see him in Sequoia National Park.  Well, it’s been more than a few weeks since my return, and I’m nearly finished with the scanning and subsequent developing of the film from that trip.

This week has been busy in the best possible way.  This morning I finished printing the last of some 46 archival pigment prints for a local amateur photography club’s first ever photography exhibition.  It was a wonderful experience and I enjoyed getting to see so many unique and creative interpretatiosn of a common theme.

Next week I am looking forward to meeting the midwest sales rep for Leaf America.  He will be stopping by the studio on Thursday to demo the current Leaf digital backs as well as (keeping fingers crossed!) possibly giving a demo of the recently announced Leaf Afi10 digital medium format system.  I can’t wait!

Also on the horizon is an upcoming trip to either Rocky Mountain National Park or Glacier National Park.  Either way, it will be an amazing experience.  Both parks offer the kind of photographic opportunities most landscape photographers dream about.
